Dr. Tanmoy Biswas is a specialist Ophthalmologist in the field of paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology. He obtained his MBBS degree from the prestigious Calcutta Medical College and completed MS ophthalmology from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College Kolkata in 2015. Thereafter he did a long-term fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai and Kolkata. After completing the fellowship, he joined Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-ophthalmology. He worked as consultant in until 2021.
He has keen interest in teaching. He has trained many fellows and post-graduates during his time at Sankara Nethralaya. He has presented many papers and instruction courses at national and state conferences. Has been spent nearly a decade in the field of ophthalmology
